§ 14-53. Additional filing fees in circuit court for legal aid, law library.

  • Upon institution of any civil action, suit or proceeding in the circuit court in and for the county, there shall be paid by the party instituting such action, suit or proceeding, in addition to the fee otherwise provided by law, the sum of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50), the whole of which shall be set apart by the clerk to be used exclusively for the legal aid bureau and law library as herein provided. The clerk shall turn over the funds so collected within ten (10) days after the end of each month to the board of trustees herein established.
