§ 15-114. Orange County Water Quality Management Rules; adoption of state rules by reference.

  • (a)

    The board of county commissioners hereby adopts by reference the following rules, as they exist on the effective date of this ordinance, of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection relating to water quality standards and criteria, which are hereby made applicable to all waters of the county and shall be known as the Orange County Water Quality Management Rules:

    (1)

    F.A.C. rule 62-302.530, Table: Surface Water Quality Criteria.

    (2)

    F.A.C. ch. 62-304, Part V, Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) in the Central Florida District.

    (3)

    F.A.C. rule 62-520.400, Minimum Criteria for Ground Water.

    (4)

    F.A.C. rule 62-520.420, Standards for Class G-I and Class G-II Ground Water.

    (b)

    The environmental protection commission shall periodically review any state rule amendments to the above-referenced rules and recommend to the county if any such rule amendments should be incorporated in the Orange County Water Quality Management Rules.
