§ 15-710. Fund created.

(1)

The board hereby creates the pollutant storage tank fund to be administered by the program. Penalties assessed against violators of this article shall be placed in the fund. The environmental protection officer, with the approval of the board of county commissioners, shall direct the expenditures of monies in the fund. Such expenditures shall be limited to providing funding for staffing, education, program development, program implementation, and such other public purposes as may be approved by the board of county commissioners.

(2)

All civil penalties, judgments, recoveries, and other fees and charges relating to enforcement actions imposed by this article shall be deposited into the fund.
