§ 17-334. Review.

  • (a)

    The policies and regulations promulgated under this division shall be reviewed and evaluated by the county mayor on an annual basis, except as may otherwise be determined by the board of county commissioners. A full sunset review shall be conducted within seven (7) years of the initial enactment of this division and, thereafter, no less frequently than once every four (4) years.

    (b)

    The board of county commissioners shall review the implementation of this division and whether discrimination against minority and women-owned business enterprises continues in the relevant markets with subsequent reviews to be conducted no less frequently than once every four (4) years thereafter. If the board determines that the requirements of this division are no longer necessary to prevent discrimination against minority and women-owned business enterprises in the relevant markets from affecting the county's contracting processes, the division shall be repealed.
