§ 18-33. Supplemental regulations; technical standards adopted by fire marshal.

(a)

The board of county commissioners is hereby authorized to adopt, by resolution, rules and regulations to further implement and define the purposes of this article.

(b)

The board of county commissioners hereby authorizes the county fire marshal to adopt and promulgate fire department technical standards, which are the fire marshal's standing interpretations and consistent applications of the provisions of the Florida Fire Prevention Code as adopted in section 18-32, Florida Statutes and incorporated references. Such standards and code interpretations shall be enforceable and the application thereof subject to appeal in the same manner as is application of the provisions of the fire prevention code.
