§ 20-26. Findings.
The board of county commissioners hereby finds and declares that it is essential that the people of the county have access to adequate medical care and health facilities, and that it is essential that health facilities within the county be provided with additional means to assist in the development and maintenance of the public health. The board of county commissioners further finds and declares that there is a need for the Orange County Health Facilities Authority, which is hereby created under the Health Facilities Authorities Law [F.S. § 154.201 et seq.] to function in the county.
