§ 20-187. Agreement prior to approval of application for assistance.

  • Before any application for assistance is approved the applicant shall agree that all such benefits paid to him or on his behalf shall constitute a claim by the county against his estate enforceable according to law. Such agreement may be contained in the application signed by the applicant. The debt thereby created shall be enforceable only by claim filed against the estate of the recipient after his death or by suit to set aside a fraudulent conveyance, as defined in section 20-188.
