The engineering department may approve and/or issue a permit for right-of-way utilization permit application, either separately or in conjunction with an underground utility pipeline construction permit application in accordance with board of county commissioners' direction. Upon approval by the county engineer, the application form becomes the valid permit.

    (b)

After payment of the required fee and approval of the application, the county engineer will issue a permit for the proposed work. The work must be performed in accordance with the terms and requirements of this duly issued permit. Additional work, or revisions not authorized by the original terms of the permit, will require a new permit or modification of the existing permit if applicable.
