§ 28-106. Legal counsel and case presentation.

  • (a)

    The county attorney or other legal counsel may be appointed by the board of county commissioners in accordance with applicable law and ordinances to be counsel to the nuisance abatement board.

    (b)

    The sheriff's office may represent the county by presenting cases before the nuisance abatement board. However, the county attorney may also present cases before the nuisance abatement board.

    (c)

    In no event may any legal counsel, or any member of his or her office, serve as legal counsel to the nuisance abatement board while also presenting cases before the nuisance abatement board.
