§ 29-33. Expression of intent as to allocation of park use fees.
(a)
The board of county commissioners may request that the county comptroller inform the board of county commissioners, from time to time, as to the amount of park use fees collected by the county park and recreation department pursuant to the provisions of this article.
(b)
It is the intent of the board of county commissioners that an allocation be made in the county budget for the purpose of county park capital improvements and maintenance of county park capital improvements, such allocation to be in addition to the amount customarily allocated in the county budget for county park operating expenses. Such allocation for capital improvements and maintenance of capital improvements shall be based on the amount of park use fees collected and to be collected during the previous fiscal year.
