§ 2-1. Marginal entries on instruments filed of record in circuit court.

(a)

No entry or cross-reference notation shall be made or permitted to be made upon the margin of the record of any instrument filed for record in the office of the clerk of the circuit court of the county.

(b)

Any matter other than cross-reference notations heretofore required or permitted to be entered upon the margin of such records shall be contained in a separate instrument and recorded as other instruments.
