§ 2-31. Terms of county commissioners, county mayor.

Each person elected to the office of county commissioner or office of county mayor at the general election of 2012 and each general election thereafter shall commence his or her term on the first Tuesday, following the first Monday in December, following that general election. Each county commissioner and county mayor shall serve until his or her successor is sworn.
