§ 2-176. Status statement.

The Orange County Research and Development Authority is hereby determined to be an independent special district, as it does not exhibit any of the characteristics of a "dependent special district" as set forth in F.S. § 189.012(2). Accordingly, it falls within the definition of an "independent special district" as set forth in F.S. § 189.012(3).
