§ 2-211. District advisory boards.
Nothing in this article prohibits an individual commissioner from soliciting and receiving the advice of his or her constituents or others, especially when the scope of the advice is limited to the affairs of only the commissioner's district. However, any group of persons that is formed for the express purpose of providing citizen input to the county chairman or one (1) or more commissioners, and that seeks the assistance of county staff or county funding, shall first be created pursuant to this article, and the group and its individual members shall comply with the conditions and requirements of this article.
