The members of the governing board, oversight board and transit board shall receive
no compensation for the performance of their duties hereunder, but each member may
be paid or reimbursed for any expenses incurred by him or her while engaged in the
performance of such duties, in accordance with county policy and F.S. § 112.061 (or
any successor legislation).
The comptroller, by agreement with the board of county commissioners, shall provide
the governing board, the oversight board and the transit board with such assistance
from her office from time to time as may be reasonably necessary or useful for such
boards to exercise their powers and fulfill their duties under this article, and the
board of county commissioners shall provide such funding or cause such funding to
be provided as reasonably necessary for such assistance.
