The alternative mobility area is designated as a transportation concurrency exception
area pursuant to Objective T2.3 and Map 16 in the transportation element of the county's
adopted comprehensive plan. The AMA requirements found in Objective T2.3 and its associated
policies shall apply to future land use map amendments, rezonings, special exceptions,
PD land use plans, development plans, preliminary subdivision plans, and commercial
site plans within the AMA, and may apply to substantial changes to PD land use plans,
preliminary subdivision plans, and development plans within the AMA.
