§ 31.5-3. Purpose.

The purpose of this article is to regulate the number, location, size, type, and use of signs within the county in order to promote the public health, safety and welfare, to maintain, enhance and improve the beauty of the county, and to improve traffic safety, while recognizing the right of the business community both to reasonably identify and advertise its existence.
