§ 31.5-176. Service station signs.
In addition to the copy area allowed herein, the following signs may be permitted:
(1)
Self-service signs and full service signs may be permitted at a motor vehicle service station with a maximum copy area of eight (8) square feet each.
(2)
One (1) pricing sign may be permitted for each type of gas sold at the service station, with a maximum copy area of four (4) square feet each. Such signs shall be incorporated into a pole sign or the service island.
(3)
One (1) wall sign (facia sign) may be permitted over each service bay which advertises for such services as tune-up, oil change, lubrication, provided the letters do not exceed eight (8) inches in height.
