§ 32-162. Sale of recyclable materials and scavenging.

It shall be unlawful for any person to remove designated recyclable materials from recycling containers at curbside or other designated areas or for any franchisee, licensee or employee of such franchisee or licensee to sell or give away designated recyclable materials without the specific written permission of the county. Any person found removing such designated recyclable material without permission shall be subject to prosecution by the county for scavenging. Prosecution may be pursued through the code enforcement board.
