§ 33-127. Use of ditch or canal to discharge waters upon swamp or low land prohibited.

  • No individual, person, firm, corporation or association shall, by means of any ditch or canal, cause the waters of any lake, pond, canal or ditch within said district to be let out, into, or upon, or to be discharged into or upon any swamp land or low land within or without said district; provided however, that nothing in this section contained shall be construed to prevent the ditching of lands for drainage into said waters of said district. Violation of the provisions of this section shall be a misdemeanor and shall be subject to the same punishment as provided in section 26 [section 33-141] hereof.
