§ 33-142. Purposes declared public.

  • It is hereby determined by the legislature of the State of Florida the purposes of this act [article] are hereby declared and found to be for a good and valid public purpose and that this act [article] confers special benefits upon the lands within the district hereinbefore described in the act [article] and the board is therefore authorized and empowered to assess, levy and collect ad valorem taxes upon the lands within the district in the manner and for the purposes hereinbefore described.
