§ 35-55. Exemptions.

(a)

This article shall not apply to the towing or immobilization of a vehicle that occurs:

(1)

At the direction of a law enforcement officer, community service officer, code enforcement officer, or parking specialist of the county pursuant to an agreement or contract between the county and a towing service; or

(2)

With the consent of the vehicle's owner or operator; or

(3)

At property owned by any governmental entity where the towing or immobilization of motor vehicles has been authorized by said governmental entity or its site manager, duly authorized agent, or lessee.
