§ 35-65. Withholding of license plates and revalidation stickers.

  • (a)

    In accordance with F.S. § 316.1967(6), as amended from time to time, the Orange County Comptroller Finance and Accounting Department shall supply the state department of highway safety and motor vehicles with lists of persons who have any outstanding violations of F.S. § 316.1955 or 316.1957, or any similar local ordinance regulating parking in spaces designated for use by disabled person, and/or who have three (3) or more outstanding parking violations.

    (b)

    Under the authority of F.S. § 320.03(8), as amended from time to time, the county tax collector may not issue a license plate or revalidation sticker to an applicant whose name appears on the list referred to in subsection (a) until that person presents a receipt from the Orange County Comptroller Finance and Accounting Department showing that such parking fines have been paid.
