§ 37-27. Application for franchise.

Any person desiring to obtain a water or sewer franchise in any unincorporated community in the county shall make application therefor in writing to the board of county commissioners, which application shall describe the land to be embraced in such franchise and shall be accompanied by the plan of the applicant for the installation and development of such facility, stating what service the applicant intends to furnish and to state whether an exclusive or a nonexclusive franchise is desired and to furnish to the board of county commissioners all necessary data as will disclose the plan of operation of the applicant and the feasibility and necessity for the issuance of the franchise requested.
