§ 37-56. Authority; scope, purpose of provisions.
This article is enacted under the home rule power of the county for the purposes of providing necessary regulations for the location, construction, repair, and abandonment of wells and the installation and repair of pumps and pumping equipment and the registration and licensing of well drillers and pump installers in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of the county. This article shall apply and be enforced in all areas of the county not within the boundaries of any municipality in the county.
