§ 37-515. Injunction.

  • In addition to any penalty provided by law for the violation of any of the provisions of this article, the board of county commissioners may bring suit in the appropriate circuit court to enjoin, restrain or otherwise prevent the violation of any of the provisions of this article in any manner as provided by law. The environmental protection officer shall have authority to bring any such suit if necessary, to prevent imminent danger to the public health, safety or welfare.

    The foregoing remedies shall not be exclusive, and the county may invoke any other remedies available pursuant to general law, special act or common law.
