§ 38-116. Permitted uses.

A use shall be permitted in the A-1 district if the use is identified by the letter "P" in the use table set forth in section 38-77.

At a public hearing on Jan. 16, 1992, the planning and zoning commission/local planning agency determined that composting of organic materials finishing plant in conjunction with and as an ancillary use to a mushroom farm in the A-1 zone shall be considered a similar and compatible use given the district's intent and purpose and the fact that the final product is organically manufactured and processed on site in conjunction with an agricultural use for subsequent use by nurseries, etc.
