Article II. WORKS OF ART IN GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS |
§ 6-27. Applicability.
This article shall apply in the incorporated as well as unincorporated areas of the county to the extent that there exists no conflicting municipal ordinance. Where a municipal ordinance conflicts with the terms of this article, this article shall be inoperative in that municipality to the extent of the conflict. Furthermore, this article applies to any governmental building constructed in the county regardless of the entity responsible for the construction of the building, except that this article shall not apply where state or federal laws or regulations are in conflict herewith, nor shall it apply to construction of any building for which appropriation has been made prior to August 31, 1978.
