§ 9-544. Certification of existing master plumbers.

A state-certified master plumber meeting the requirements of an underground utilities pipeline contractor may, upon the submission of an application, payment of the requisite fee, and providing the required bond, be authorized to obtain a certificate of competency by the UUPRC, without the necessity of taking the written examination. The UUPRC is hereby authorized to classify master plumbers by class, subject to general law.
