§ 2-197. Subpoena and other orders; enforcement.

Any person who fails or refuses to obey a lawful order or subpoena issued in the exercise of these powers shall be in violation of this division and section 801 of the County Charter. A person convicted of a violation of this division shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
