§ 32-190. Frequency and hours of residential collection.

Franchisees shall collect residential waste materials and recyclables at intervals specified in the franchise agreement. The full service collection program shall provide for collection of garbage at least once weekly. The full service collection program shall provide for collection of yard waste, designated recyclable materials and bulk trash at least once weekly except during weeks containing holidays as approved by the director. The hours of full service shall be from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, with no collection on Sundays except as approved by the board of county commissioners. In the event of equipment breakdown, a shortage of employees, or other causes which will or might delay regular service for more than one (1) day, the franchisee shall immediately notify the director.
