§ 2-256. Authorization to approve and accept instruments for recording.
The manager or assistant manager of the real estate management department is authorized to accept and approve instruments of conveyance and other related documents to Orange County for all real property acquired by Orange County pursuant to the terms of this article. Previously, approval was required by the board of county commissioners per Resolution No. 86-M-44. The approval authority is hereby delegated to the real estate management department as stated above, and the recording department of the comptroller's office is authorized to record real property instruments and other related documents containing a stamp indicating "accepted and approved by real estate management department on behalf of Orange County."
